When I’m strolling the city, NYC that is, I try to look for healthy choices meals. Le Pain Quotidien is a good option. This particular store is located on 70 West 40th Street ( between 6th and 5th Ave.) It is right across from Bryant Park. Their bread is gluten free and their ingredients are organic and of high quality.

Ingredients:
-Organic raw almonds, organic first pressed cold olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, half or one lemon, sea salt to taste.
Directions:
-Place almonds in a glass container and let soak over night. The next morning, peal the almonds.
-Place almonds in a food processor, add salt to taste, squeeze the lemon, add olive oil (you may keep adding as needed while processing in the food processor).
Keep processing until the almond reaches a paste like consistency. Once done, place in a glass jar and keep refrigerated. Use it as a spread on bread and crackers. Eat to your health!

Tuna Tacos
In my search for healthy and delicious food, I’ve come across some exquisite meals. Tonight I had the Tuna Tacos. I will try to get the recipe from the restaurant I had it, but it looks pretty simple. Inside the taco, there is coleslaw and the tuna with some slices of onion on top and the avocado is around each taco.
I will try to find these mini tacos to prepare this at home.
