Word of the day #4–Attitude

Good Morning beautiful people!  It is Monday and it is raining a little in this area, but it’s a beautiful day.  Earth needs the rain.  Yesterday I received a very powerful message from a very wise person.  The message was about our attitude, our attitude towards life, towards problems and towards anything that present it self.  Our attitude will determine our level of joy or our level of unhappiness.

Things will happen in life that sometimes will not be what we want or expect them to be, but it is our attitude and how we control our emotions that will help determine whether we handle the situation properly or not.  We all have emotions.  When good things happen we feel good (good emotions).  When bad things happen, we feel bad (bad emotions).  When bad things happen, do not let your emotions (bad emotions) take control, instead pray, meditate, think, ask for the wisdom and strength to do and say the right thing.  Stop! before you say something mean or hurtful to anyone and that includes you.  We all get upset sometimes; that’s just how it is, but how we manage being upset (our attitude) can make the difference between having a beautiful and joyful life or not.

ViBa Academy

Last week I mentioned in my previous post that I was invited to the International Beauty Show (IBS) at the Jacob Javits Center.  Due to a family emergency, I had to fly out of the country that same evening (after the post) and I did not have the chance to thank the amazing people who invited me to the show.    I was able to attend the IBS convention thanks to the people at VIBA academy.  In particular I want to thank Vargas and Anabel.

Vargas and Anabel are the founders of Viba Academy.  Their work is surreal, and as I was able to observe up close what they do, I felt their passion for what they create.  VARGAS is “the artist,” and Anabel is “the beauty.”  But they are both artists.  Vargas is one of the World’s most famous body paint artists.  Anabel is a make up artist and educator.  To learn more about Viba Academy and about Vargas and Anabel, go to their website at www.vibaacademy.com.

While at the IBS event, I took advantage of some of the specials. I bought two bottles of Agadir conditioners of 33.8 Fl. Oz. for $38 and I saw the price for each bottle, same size at a local beauty store at $50.00 each bottle. I will post a review about it once I try it.

I also purchased a set of make up brushes by Royal Langnickel for $25. This was another super deal as I had purchased just one brush at a beauty store (not same brand) for the same amount.

This is all for now. Do not forget to read about Vargas and Anabel on their website. These people are inspiring, their work is like a fantasy where they bring the impossible to possible. Thank you for reading and know that you are all beautiful.

With love,

International Beauty Show at the Javits Center

I was invited to the IBS convention which I attended yesterday.  The international Beauty Show hosted in NYC every year is the top trade show of the beauty industry.

The top leading brands in the industry made their appearance.  Today was the last day of this three day beauty trade show.  During my visit yesterday, I found Teresa from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” promoting her line of hair products called Milania.

I also found Pamela Anderson who was there promoting the brand Obliphica.  She was wearing a little black dress and looked very sophisticated.

Back from Ohio

image On my trip from Ohio back to New York, my flight was not direct and I had to change flight in Philadelphia.  The plane (picture above) from Philly to La Guardia New York was the smallest plane I’ve ever been on thus far.  It was a new experience in my traveling journey and I have to say I quiet ejoyed the flight.  It never elevated above visibility level from the earth and when we were going thru New York City, it was as if I was having an aerial tour of the City. image image image image image image
