What’s new

I recently joined a Tae Kwon Do class.  I love it and my body is in pain.  I get to work out every muscle in my body.  It is intense.  It’s not boring.  It is about discipline.  It helps me to relax.  Tae Kwon Do is not just to get physically stronger; yes, that is a big part of it.  But it is about much more than that.  It is about respect, honor, kindness.  It is about body, mind and spirit.

I look forward to the next class.  I imagine my legs elevating higher each time, with each kick.  Tae Kwon Do is about self respect and respect for others.  It is about becoming mentally stronger.  I joined this class in part to break out of the usual routine of a conventional gym.  I couldn’t be any happier with this decision.

Are you feeling bored of the same workout routine?  Don’t let that stop you.  Try different sports and fitness disciplines.  For me, it will be a combination of Tae Kwon do, with jugging and also my conventional gym.  But I am excited because I’m changing the routine.  And an additional positive about Tae Kown Do is that it helps me to relax so much.  I feel like it’s also combined with meditation.

I just started the class and I am happy that I did.  In Tae Kown Do, speed is is valued, therefore it’s important to have healthy eating habits that keep your stamina at its best.

What is your workout routine? what do you enjoy most?
